We're looking to expand our presence across campus and need your help
keeping USIPB connected on Engage! If you're a current
USI student, it only takes two seconds to join our page:
- Head over to Engage via your myUSI portal.
- Search for “USI Pep Band” and select our organization.
- Click the blue “Join” button!
Friendly reminder: for the most up-to-date schedule, game times,
and announcements, always refer directly to
usipb.org and sync your calendar from there!
⭐ We Need Student Volunteers!
We're looking for USI students to help us keep our presence active and
up to date on Engage!
What you'll do: Assist with entering our rehearsal dates
and game times into the Engage platform and helping keep our campus
listings accurate throughout the semester.
Time commitment: Requires some dedicated time and
attention to detail, as events will need to be entered individually from
our website (usipb.org) and kept up to date whenever last-minute schedule
changes pop up.
If you'd like to help the band behind the scenes and earn some campus
involvement experience, please contact us at the next practice.
Join Us for Orientation Practice — September 15!

Ready to catch the momentum from the Student Involvement Fair? The USI Pep
Band's Orientation Practice is Tuesday, September 15,
2026, from 6:30–8:00 PM at the Band Patio (Bandstand),
Liberty Arena. This is our first practice of the season and the
perfect time for new and returning members alike to come find out what we're
all about.
No audition or registration required — just show up! Bring your
instrument and play with us, or if you don't have one with you, come anyway
and we'll figure out what to do. We'll be playing some of our favorite songs
and having a great time. Not sure how to find the Band Patio or the band cage?

Help us spread the word! We put together a recruitment flyer — download
it, print a few copies, and hand them out to anyone who might want to join us:

USI Pep Band Heading to the Student Involvement Fair
August 17, 2026
Mark your calendars! The USI Pep Band will have a table at the
Student Involvement Fair
on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, from 2-5 PM at the
University Quad. (If the fair is postponed for weather,
it will move to Wednesday, September 2, same time and location.)
This is our chance to introduce new and returning students to the band and
get the word out about how easy it is to join — no auditions, no
registration, just show up! If you're able to stop by and spend some time at
the table, even for a little while, we'd love to have you there. Bring your
energy (and maybe your instrument) and help us recruit the next generation of
Screagles!
